Our Upper Elementary students have been learning and making music with the ukulele. Some of the reasons for the success of this program is that the ukulele is:
- Portable
- Great as a solo or ensemble instrument
- An excellent tool for developing ear-training and teaching music theory
- Relatively inexpensive compared to other instruments
- Fun!
